Im hoping someone will be able to help me figure out the issue. Also, hope im posting this in the correct place. This has been an ongoing problem on/off for a year and a half.

It started With the battery Light and the message check charging system while exiting the highway. It was determined the alternator was bad. I replaced it and it ran fine for a few months.
The same light and message came on again, both the battery and alternator tested fine though. I then realized I was given the cheapest alternator and it was still under warranty so I took it back and got a better one and installed that. Everything was fine for awhile.

Afterwards, I experienced that battery being dead every morning and had to jump it. At that point I got a new battery and was fine. The next day it started whining and smoke was coming inside the van while sitting/idling. Ive replaced the power steering pump and the valve cover gaskets since there was oil coming out. That seemed to fix the issue.
Well today, I started it and immediately noticed the noise and burning smell. This time also the same light/message of the charging system is on. All fluids checked out fine, nothing loose or leaking fluids that I can see. Im at a loss.

That whining and burning smell makes me think a slipping belt or seized pulley, it could be tensioner or alternator dragging.

I ended up replacing thebattery and alternator again thankfully under warranty still. It hadn't came back on. But now, check engine and traction control lights are on. Comes up as a misfire cylinder 1. Ive replaced the coil pack but it came back. Sometimes the engine light will start flashing
