2026 Odyssey, worth the wait ?

We currently own a 2017 Odyssey and we love it. We are considering replacing it and are looking at the Sienna, or 2025 Odyssey or considering the option of waiting for the 2026.
The reason we are considering the Sienna is for the hybrid and AWD options.

It seems that the 2026 Odyssey may offer those as well and having owned Odyssey since 2007, is that we love the easy removable 2nd row seats to make space for big stuff whenever we need to, which seems to be not so easy on the Sienna.
Opinions and suggestions would be much appreciated.

From what I've read, nothing much gonna be different in the features, but the design generally will be changed, like the front fascia, rear end, and headlights.

I have a 2025 Sienna. The hybrid saves gas and AWD is great for bad weather. But the second row seats don't come out easy like the Odyssey. If you need space for big stuff a lot stick with the Odyssey. The 2026 Odyssey might have hybrid and AWD so waiting could be smart if you love the removable seats.

If you've been an odyssey fan for that long, waiting for the 2026 might be worth it, especially if they finally add hybrid and awd. The Sienna's great for fuel economy, but yeah, that fixed second row is a no for a lot of people. If hauling big stuff is a priority, sticking with the Odyssey makes sense. hehe, tough call, wait it out or go hybrid now?

That's a big jump from the 2017. I think if the current car is still doing its job and you don't mind waiting, it should be good. i heard pre-orders will be by September this year

seeing awd and a hybrid is nice, but Honda didn't made an announcement confirming that, so we can't really tell. If you're okay with waiting a few more months, you'll find out. WIth that said, the problem is that if you don't need it now, you'll wait for 2026 and see if it offers everything you want. If it doesn't uou might think that it's worth waiting for the second one and so one and so on. At a certain point you'll need to pull the trigger

If having a hybrid or all-wheel drive is important to you, the Sienna is your best choice right now, although the second-row seats could be more versatile. The 2025 Odyssey still has removable seats, but it doesn't come with hybrid or AWD options. However, if you can hold off, the 2026 Odyssey might include those features,we'll just have to wait for the official announcement
