@minivansarekewl it's kind of ironic how these new Odyssey features are getting praised while you're stuck with a system that feels like it's barely holding onto the lane but unfortunately upgrading your current system isn't really a thing since stuff like self-driving and lane-keep assist relies on hardware that's usually built into the vehicle from the factory so unless Honda pulls off a miracle software update you might just have to settle for what you've got or look into the next model if those features are deal breakers for you.
i have a 2020 odyssey and the self driving isn't great either. i asked my dealer about upgrades and they said no way to update it to the newer system. you might be stuck with what you got unless you get a new car.
Yeah, the newer Odysseys come with Traffic Jam Assist and better LKAS hardware. Unfortunately, you can't really upgrade it because it's connected to certain sensors and modules. I took mine in for a check, and a software update made a slight difference, but it's still not quite like the latest version.
