No youre not stupid and this might surprise you, it happens more often than u think :) have tried saying open sesame and see ifi ti works? nah just kidding

but seriously i think a mechanic or a locksmith will be your lifesaver for this. let us know how it goes

I think I got jammed the glove box before. I pull the latch open and then put a large flat putty knife into the top of the glove box and gently try to open it. I hope it works for you!

i agree you're not stupid. this is a common stuff. what you need to do now is other than what thegentleman here mentioned you can use a plastic pry tool to use around the edges while pulling the handle. but be careful else you're gonna break something else that's just gonna bring you close rto the dealer even more.

You are not alone bro, it has happened to me a long time ago and no you're not stupid :) I've tried opening up the glovebox with plastic pry just like MTV90sKid mentioned but sadly it didn't work for me because i wasn't gentle (my bad) and i ended up going to the dealer. Just make sure to be very gentle when trying to open it and if youre not sure about the outcome just go to the dealer.

Nah, it happens to all of us. whentrying to open the glovebox, be careful not to scratch or break other parts of your dash. you can also check this with a locksmith

I have to ask guys, why do you put your keys in the glove compartment? Apparently it's a recipe for disaster. @Vteckickedinyo you can try some kind of pry tool to release the latch. If that doesn't work, you can consider removing the latches and get access to what's hiding inside. And in future situations, keep it at all times
